The Marketing Activation GT Specialist will focus on building brand awareness and driving product engagement through offline activation strategies in the General Trade sector. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring offline activations, product trials, and experiential marketing initiatives. The specialist will work closely with sales teams and external partners to ensure the effective delivery of marketing campaigns that resonate with local consumers and trade partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Brand Awareness & Offline Activation: Develop and execute offline marketing campaigns that increase brand visibility and engagement within General Trade channels. This includes organizing in-store promotions, events, and activations that attract consumer attention and drive product trials.
  • Product Activation & Experimentation: Plan and execute product activation experiments to test new concepts, product variations, or promotional offers in the market. Collect feedback and insights to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the sales and trade teams to align activation activities with business goals. Coordinate with external vendors, distributors, and retail partners to ensure smooth execution of activation campaigns.
  • Market Insights & Reporting: Gather insights from offline activations and customer interactions to provide actionable feedback for product development and marketing strategies. Prepare regular reports on the performance of activations and experiments, recommending improvements based on results.
  • Execution of Promotional Activities: Oversee the logistics, setup, and execution of product sampling, in-store displays, and other promotional activities. Ensure high-quality implementation and adherence to brand standards.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage activation budgets to ensure that all campaigns are executed efficiently and within budget.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on offline activations or general trade marketing.
  • Proven experience in organizing and executing offline campaigns, product trials, or promotional events.
  • Understanding of the General Trade sector and local market dynamics.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to execute multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to design engaging activations and product experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess activation performance and generate insights.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to manage logistics and on-the-ground operations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and consumer behavior.
Desirable:
  • Experience in General Trade or FMCG marketing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with customer experience and field marketing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
