Remote Host Intern - D2C (Live Commerce)
As a Remote Host Intern, you will work closely under the guidance of our main Hosts and the senior team, acting as both an on-screen and off-screen supporter during live shopping sessions. This role focuses on the direct learning of presentation techniques, audience interaction, and sales dynamics to maximize conversion rates. You are expected to be a charismatic, high-energy supporter with a strong eagerness to learn how to become an effective live commerce Host.
Key Responsibilities
- Live Hosting & Audience Engagement:
- Act as the main presenter during live shopping shows, introducing products and delivering compelling product storytelling.
- Interact actively with live audiences, answer their questions, and encourage participation through chats, giveaways, or call-to-actions.
- Maintain a lively, professional, and on-brand persona during all live sessions. - Show Preparation & Coordination:
- Collaborate with content and live streaming assistant/operator teams to script show flows, talking points, and product highlights.
- Conduct thorough product research to ensure accurate and persuasive presentations.
- Rehearse and align with technical teams to ensure seamless show execution. - Sales-Driven Product Presentation:
- Showcase products with a focus on their unique selling points (USPs) to influence purchasing decisions.
- Adapt hosting style to suit different product categories (e.g., fashion, electronics, beauty, lifestyle). - Content Feedback & Improvement:
- Provide feedback on audience preferences, engagement trends, and show performance to improve future live commerce content strategies.
- Suggest creative ideas for interactive segments, campaigns, or thematic shows. - Brand Ambassador Role:
- Embody the brand's and/or creator account’s image and values, becoming a trusted and relatable figure for the audience.
- Maintain consistency in communication tone and style across all live shows. - Doing Live Selling at Home:
- All live selling activities will be conducted from home according to the assigned schedule and duration.
Required Qualifications
- Active student or recent graduate from any major.
- Strong interest and high enthusiasm for live commerce, e-commerce, or content creation.
- Basic experience demonstrating public speaking or on-camera ability (e.g., campus organizations, MC, or personal content creation).
- Energetic, charismatic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Familiar with live streaming platforms and social media (e.g., TikTok Live, Instagram Live)
- Device, proper mini studio
- Available for a minimum 3-6 months
