General Description

Accounting Senior Manager is responsible for leading the company's accounting function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all business entities. This role oversees the end-to-end accounting cycle, financial closing, audit coordination, and accounting governance while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The role serves as a key partner to Finance leadership by driving accounting excellence, strengthening financial governance, improving operational efficiency, and providing technical accounting guidance to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

List key responsibilities of this position that are required daily. 

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions across all business entities.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reports before submission.
  • Lead external audit activities, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance while resolving audit findings and improving internal controls.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, accounting treatments, and implementation of applicable accounting standards.
  • Strengthen accounting governance by developing, reviewing, and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partner, Tax, Treasury, and business teams to ensure consistency between operational activities and financial reporting.
  • Monitor balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, and financial risks, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding accounting issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes, reporting accuracy, system utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to strengthen technical capability, performance, and succession readiness.
  • Able to work from our office in Bandung

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA/ACCA certification is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, financial closing, consolidation, and technical accounting.
  • Proven experience in managing external audits, statutory compliance, and internal control implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of PSAK/IFRS, taxation fundamentals, and accounting governance.
  • Experience leading accounting teams across multiple business entities or business units.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and accounting process improvement initiatives.
