We are looking for a Head of Product Development to lead the end-to-end development of first-party and private label products, from concept to market launch. This role is responsible for ensuring product ideas are translated into high-quality, commercially viable products that meet cost, quality, and timeline targets. You will play a key role in building strong private label capabilities and enabling scalable, profitable product growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch across multiple categories.
  • Translate product briefs into detailed specifications, formulation, packaging, and performance standards.
  • Ensure products meet target cost structure, pricing, and contribution margin.
  • Identify and develop manufacturing partners for private label production.
  • Lead supplier evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Drive cost optimization and feasibility assessment for new products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Management, Supply Planning, QA, and Operations.
  • Support successful product launches and continuous portfolio improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, Business, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or manufacturing (FMCG / Consumer Goods / Private Label).
  • 4+ years of experience leading product development teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and supplier management.
  • Experience working with OEM / ODM manufacturers (Indonesia / China / Southeast Asia preferred).
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven track record of launching products from concept to market.
