Product Development Manager for Beauty
Job Summary:
The Product Development Manager – Beauty is responsible for leading the end-to-end product development process for Evermos' private-label beauty categories. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities, developing innovative and competitive products, and collaborating closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches that align with Evermos’ brand values and customer expectations.
Job Description:
Lead the research and development process for new beauty products, with a focus on private-label opportunities.
Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to design products, including packaging, branding, and material selection.
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor offerings to identify gaps and opportunities.
Ensure product quality, performance, and safety align with industry standards and brand positioning.
Optimize cost structures by managing bill of materials (BOM) and understanding the cost of goods sold (COGS).
Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, legal, and sales teams to manage timelines and product go-to-market execution.
Monitor post-launch product performance and gather customer feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
Stay updated on relevant regulations, industry certifications, and sustainability standards in the beauty sectors.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Design, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, ideally in the beauty industry.
Deep understanding of industry trends, consumer needs, and product innovation in beauty.
Experience in working with manufacturers and supply chain partners, including knowledge of packaging and production processes.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple product timelines and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with experience in cost management and competitive analysis.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
