Claim and Recovery Officer
General Description
The Claim Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end claim process, including claim analysis, investigation, and follow-up with partners to ensure timely feedback in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA). This role is also accountable for investigating and resolving claim-related issues within the defined SLA. Additionally, the Claim Officer will collaborate closely with the Sales, Customer Service, and Technology teams to optimize the claims process and enhance overall efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end claim process, from submission to resolution.
- Collect, process, and analyze raw data to support claim submissions.
- Conduct investigations and monitor claim submissions to ensure timely processing.
- Track and follow up on claim feedback from partners to ensure prompt responses.
- Review and address claim rejections from partners in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present data reports and presentations for weekly performance meetings with partners, highlighting areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve user issues effectively
Required Qualifications
- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any major (a relevant field - Industrial Engineering/ Management Transportation Logistic is preferred).
- A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, complaint handling, and recovery processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
