Economics Manager
Economics Manager will play a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives and projects, creating comprehensive business presentations, assisting in FP&A activities, and helping set and proportionate targets. This position requires strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of business operations, and a collaborative mindset.
Job Description:
1. Deck creation
- Support the creation of compelling and comprehensive business presentations and strategy decks for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all decks are visually appealing, consistent, and convey the intended message clearly.
- Target setting and proportioning.
- Assist in setting realistic and achievable targets for various business units and projects.
- Help in the allocation and proportioning of targets to ensure balanced and strategic growth.
2. Project Management Office (PMO)
- Assist in the management and execution of strategic projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure effective communication among team members.
3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Support financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Assist in the generation of financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to improve business performance.
4. Business Strategy
- Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Provide analytical support and business insights for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in identifying growth opportunities, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative environment to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years experience, and 2-3 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, FP&A, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
